Combining the talents of musical theatre star Cathy Rigby with Tom McCoy's extensive production and theatrical experience, McCoy Rigby Entertainment has become one of the nation's premier theatrical production companies. Credits include Tony-nominated Broadway shows, long-running national tours, multiple-award-winning Los Angeles stage productions, and hit TV specials.

Creative home-base for McCoy Rigby is the beautiful La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, one of Southern California's top legitimate theaters, where the company embarks on its twelfth season of producing award-winning plays, musicals, concerts and special events. Each season has offered an eclectic mix of dramas, musicals and comedies ranging from beloved American classics ("Annie Get Your Gun," "Guys and Dolls," "The Wizard of Oz," "The Gin Game," "The Rainmaker," "Same Time, Next Year," "The Unsinkable Molly Brown," "The Lion in Winter," "A Grand Night for Singing," "To Kill a Mockingbird," "Evita," "Grease," "My Fair Lady," "My Way," "Smokey Joe's Café," "Jesus Christ Superstar," and "Peter Pan") to contemporary fare ("Radio Gals," "Forever Plaid," "Crazy for You," "On Borrowed Time," "Family Secrets," "Oil City Symphony," "Always, Patsy Cline," "Once on this Island," "Accomplice," "I Ought to be in Pictures," "Dancing at Lughansa," "Pump Boys and Dinettes," and the wildly popular "Tuna" series, including "A Tuna Christmas," "Greater Tuna," and "Red, White and Tuna") to Southern California Premiers ("Smoke on the Mountain," "Over the Tavern," "Everything's Ducky," and "Sister's Christmas Catechism") to special events ("Tim Conway and Harvey Korman," "Smother's Brothers," and "Count Basie Orchestra.")

On the other coast, McCoy Rigby's 35th anniversary production of "Peter Pan" starring Cathy Rigby on Broadway garnered two Tony nominations, and the company's second revival of the show in 1997 earned another Tony nomination and accolades as it toured nationwide. The production came home to La Mirada Theatre in 2000, where it was filmed for the Arts & Entertainment (A&E) network Thanksgiving holiday special. Cathy's "Peter Pan" is now available on video and DVD, and the soundtrack is available on tape and CD.

McCoy Rigby's other national tour was "Annie Get Your Gun," and special productions include Pope John Paul's historic appearance at the Los Angeles Coliseum and the award-winning documentary "Faces of Recovery" about balancing wellness.

Cathy completed a starring role as the "Cat in the Hat" in the touring production of "Seussical the Musical" and now she is reprising her role as Peter in McCoy Rigby's 2004-2006 touring production of "Peter Pan." Cathy and Tom are currently Producing Artistic Directors for the touring production of "Peter Pan" and previous touring productions such as, "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Peter Pan." Plans for future touring productions are also in the works for McCoy Rigby Entertainment.

The number of major theatrical awards garnered by McCoy Rigby Entertainment includes 2 Ovation Awards, 25 Drama-Logues, 3 Backstage Garland Awards and 3 Tony nominations, 19 Ovation nominations and 8 NAACP award nominations for the touring production of "Jesus Christ Superstar."
